My Story My experience with children started when I was 6 years old and with the birth of my baby sister. Even at such a young age I showed a very motherly / nurturing nature and helped my mom to care for her. Children just seemed to be drawn to me and as soon as I was old enough I started babysitting, loving the interaction and fulfillment that I got from being with them. 1998 - Graduated from Mary Poppins Au Pair College with Distinction, and immediately began my career in childcare, working as an Au Pair for many years, with children from birth to teenagers. I then had the opportunity to go back to the College where I studied and started to share my own experiences and knowledge with students. 2003 - I had the opportunity to Au Pair in America, caring for a precious little baby boy.

After returning to SA I Au Paired for a while before going back to work at the College again, this time playing a bigger part in lecturing on various Early Childhood Development subjects and also completing my Assessor Training. I also played a big part in recruiting Au Pairs and Nannies for families and finding the ideal carer for their precious little ones My journey then took a different turn when I became a mother myself in 2006. The experience and knowledge I had helped me tremendously but could now better associate with new moms and the daily issues they faced. With all my experience and knowledge I am able to assist parents to transition smoothly into parenthood, enjoying the journey, knowing they have the support they need.
